Today on Home
Section titled “Today on Home”Under the greeting, Home shows your day at a glance in one line. Each part opens its page:
- Routines: how many of today’s routines are done, such as “1 of 3 routines done”. It opens today in Calendar.
- Next: the next event, reminder or one-off task still to come in the coming week, with its time, and its day when it is not today. It opens that item in Calendar.
- New email: how many unread emails are waiting. It opens Email.
- Expenses: what you owe or are owed in each expense ledger where you aren’t settled up, such as “You owe ₹1,200 in Goa trip”. It opens that ledger.
A part with nothing to show is left out; with nothing at all, the line says “Your day is clear.” Your recent chats are in Chats.
Gluon works with tools: it can search the web, keep your calendar, read your files and email, run code in a private workspace and more. Some actions, such as sending an email, ask for your approval first. See Permissions and approvals.
Find your way around
Section titled “Find your way around”The main navigation has Chats, Artifacts, Calendar, Email and Drive, plus Settings. On a phone it is a tab bar at the bottom.
- Chats lists your private chats and your groups. Your agents sits below them; selecting an agent starts a new chat with it.
- Needs you appears above the chat list when something waits for you, such as an approval or a reminder.
- Settings is grouped in three: You (General, Account, Notifications, Plan & usage), Assistant (Agents, Memory, Connectors & tools, Browser) and Shared (Family & groups, Email). The command palette lists settings in the same groups. Settings save as soon as you change them and show Saved; if a save fails, choose Retry.
See App pages for every page and how to reach it.

Install Gluon as an app
Section titled “Install Gluon as an app”Gluon is a web app you can install on your phone or computer. Installed, it opens instantly, even offline, and on iPhone it can receive notifications, which iOS delivers only to apps on the home screen.
- Chrome, Edge and Android: Gluon offers to install from its own dialog, or go to Settings → General → Install Gluon at any time. The row appears only when the browser can install Gluon, and says Installed in the installed app.
- iPhone and iPad (Safari): tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
- Mac (Safari): choose File → Add to Dock.
Gluon may suggest installing from your second visit on a device. Choose Not now to be asked later, or Don’t ask again.
When a new version of Gluon is ready, a “A new version of Gluon is ready · Reload” message appears. Gluon never reloads by itself, so you never lose what you were typing.
Make it yours
Section titled “Make it yours”- Companion: your Gluon has a furry companion: Gloo (a furball), Kit (a fox) or Puff (a sheep), in one of six colors. Choose it on your Gluon’s page in Settings → Agents.
- Home scene: Earth (follows the time of day), Space, Underwater or Plain, in Settings → General → Scene, each shown as a small preview.
- Theme: Match device, Light or Dark, in Settings → General.
What stays on your device
Section titled “What stays on your device”Gluon keeps what each page last showed on your device, so it opens quickly and works offline, and it keeps unsent messages as drafts for 30 days. Signing out deletes them from that device.
